Sarah Dawn Hampton
CMT (massage therapist), Certified Rosen Method Bodywork Practitioner, Polarity Therapist and Aquatic Bodyworker. I have a natural ability to locate my client's blocked or knotted tissues using a variety of techniques to: release stress, relieve chronic pain & tension, balance the nervous system, open diaphragm, minimise insomnia and promote relaxation. My astute skills in listening and observing along with my intuition helps me excel in my assessments of my client's individual needs to achieve their body's balance. I am amazed at the improvements in: increased energy, better sleep, uplifted mood, more inspired, decrease in depression, organ function, posture, range of motion and pain reduction with this body work, even with just one session. My work helps to create long term changes in my clients and I individualize my treatment plans by assessing, tracking progress and reevaluating to make sure to reach each individual's goals. I'd love to get to know you and hear all about what your body needs.
My journey in bodywork and healing has spanned over 15 years, encompassing a wide range of modalities and experiences. I bring a unique blend of skills and deep intuition to my practice. Additionally, my expertise in aquatic bodywork (working in 97 degree water) allows me to offer a holistic approach to healing that caters to the diverse needs of my clients.
Living off and on in Spain for 25 years has enriched my life and practice in countless ways. I've had the privilege of working in vibrant communities, immersing myself in permaculture, and engaging in consensus decision-making and facilitation. These experiences have not only shaped my worldview but also enhanced my ability to connect with people from all walks of life. Being fluent in Spanish allows me to communicate effectively with a broader audience, fostering deeper connections and understanding.
My personal journey with the Rosen Method has been transformative. Having overcome my own trauma through this powerful modality, I am able to hold space for others with empathy and deep intuition. This personal experience, combined with my extensive training makes me a compassionate and effective practitioner. I am dedicated to helping diverse populations (especially those who don't usually have access to healing bodywork) navigate their healing journeys, offering a safe and nurturing environment for growth and transformation.
I have joined the RMPA-NA steering committee. I am honored to serve our community with such a brilliant group of women. I built the website and help the steering committee get up to speed on techie issues and bring voice to our drive to become more diverse and more accessible to all. I really love feeling a part of a team of women who are dedicated to supporting, nourishing, providing resources and information to the Rosen Community.

I had an amazing session with Sarah today. Rosen method therapy is a gentle type of bodywork therapy, but you don't get any tissue work per se. It is gentle holding where you have tension that helps your body and nervous system rebalance itself. It is very emotional and very effective work. I feel like a session with her today was worth several sessions of traditional manual massage, because it resets your body from within instead of just trying to force your muscles, tissues, and joints to release. Because Rosen method therapy resets your body and nervous system from within it is more transformative. If you don't get rid of the emotional root cause to your body pain, most of these issues will just come back. If you are ready for some emotional release and to reset your body and nervous system I highly recommend this type of work and Sarah as a therapist.
